Healthcare for tourists

NOTICE:

From June 1, 2026, to August 31, 2026, tourist medical clinics will begin operating in Slunj, Rakovica, and Ozalj.

LIST OF TOURIST CLINICS:

For all non-urgent forms of medical assistance and healthcare services, tourist patients can access healthcare teams of the tourist clinics of Dom zdravlja Karlovačke županije during the period from June 1 to August 31, 2026, at the following locations:

NOTE:

Outside the working hours of tourist clinics, any domestic or foreign tourist who holds a European Health Insurance Card (EHIC) can receive healthcare services at any family medicine practice that has a contractual agreement with the Croatian Health Insurance Fund (HZZO), i.e. those that clearly display the HZZO contracted partner sign at their premises.

In case of an acute condition outside the working hours of tourist clinics or family medicine practices, emergency medical care will be provided 24/7 at the units of Zavod za hitnu medicinu Karlovačke županije (Slunj and Ozalj units).
